2-year manufacturer warranty from date of purchase on Ledger hardware wallets bought through MVaults.

What is covered

Defects in materials or workmanship, secure element failure, screen defects, button failures, battery defects (Nano X), firmware issues affecting normal use.

Where it applies

Globally valid when purchased from MVaults (authorized Ledger partner). Claims processed with Ledger support; we help coordinate.

Proof required

MVaults order number or invoice, device serial (if available), photos/video of the issue, and description of troubleshooting steps performed.

Exclusions

These cases are not covered by the manufacturer warranty. If your situation is listed here, contact us for guidance—we may still help with paid repair or replacement options.

How to file a warranty claim

Follow these steps in order. The more detail you provide, the faster your claim is approved.

Collect your MVaults order number and purchase email.

Document the issue with photos/video (include device, cables, and packaging if relevant).

Confirm the device is updated to the latest firmware via Ledger Live.

Run the “Genuine Check” in Ledger Live and note results.

Contact us at support@mvaults.com with subject "Warranty"; include evidence and troubleshooting steps.

We coordinate with Ledger support; follow their RMA instructions and shipping labels if provided.

Ship the device using a trackable method when instructed. Remove any accessories not required for service.

Ledger inspects the device; approved claims lead to repair or replacement (new or refurb) at Ledger’s discretion.

Response time

We reply within 1 business day; Ledger typically responds within 1–3 business days after escalation.

RMA approval

Once evidence is reviewed, approval usually occurs within 2–5 business days.

Transit & processing

Shipping + inspection often takes 7–14 business days depending on region and carrier.

Outcome

Replacement or repair is performed by Ledger. Replacement units may be new or refurbished with equal functionality.

Security guidance

Back up before shipping

Your funds stay on-chain. You can restore on another Ledger using the 24 words. Do not include your recovery sheet in any shipment.

Remove accessories

Send only what Ledger requests (usually the device). Keep straps, keychains, and cables unless asked.

Use tracked shipping

Always ship with tracking and keep the receipt until the RMA is closed.

Keep PIN confidential

Never share PIN or recovery phrase with anyone—not support, not Ledger, not MVaults.
